Wes manages technology strategy for TMC and works with clients to develop TMS technologies and business intelligence tools. Wes has developed processes to cultivate clients' emerging needs and integrate them seamlessly with their freight networks and supply chains.
Wes is responsible for the prioritization and ongoing management of our technology roadmap. He works collaboratively with our client-based user group to develop and prioritize IT initiatives. Wes provides industry knowledge and IT feature guidance to internal technology development teams.
To date, our IT group's work has resulted in one of the most robust and client-focused TMS technologies in the industry. Combined with the C.H. Robinson network, our TMS supports more than 37,000 shippers, 53,000 contract carriers, and 10 million shipments annually.
Wes has been a part of the organization for over a decade and played a leading role in developing TMC business processes, including our highly refined implementation methodology. This collection of best practices and SOPs allows TMC to deploy a Managed TMS® solution quickly and with minimal interruption to day-to-day freight operations. Many of Wes's Six Sigma-based methodologies are also applied to existing TMC accounts to drive ongoing optimization.
