I have a friend that I see most every weekend. He typically asks me about my work week. I am not completely convinced he really cares about my week. I think really it’s his way of politely telling me he’d like to talk about his own week.

"When you stop learning, you stop leading,” and there is no better way to avoid such paralysis than to get involved in an interactive community of your peers. That was the main purpose of TMC's client forum held in Chicago on November 2nd, 2010. The result was a remarkable exchange of views and experiences.
Keynote speaker Adrian Gonzalez, Director, Logistics Viewpoints, at research firm ARC Advisory Group, set the tone with the above quote and some thought-provoking ideas on where the freight industry is headed. The discussions that followed between shippers from various industries answered a lot of questions and raised many new ones as the participants delved into performance issues and tried to plot a future course for the forum. It was a star-studded day on and off the field at Chicago's Grant Park this month as celebrities and TMC's star business partners, volunteers and donors, turned out to join the fight against cancer.
The occasion was Kicks for a Cure, the event created by TMC some six years ago to raise money for cancer charities, which has grown into the world's largest charitable kickball tournament that this year attracted more than 800 people and generated over $110,000 for the cause. Read More...
